Role Overview:
The Hub Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the battery swapping hub in Varanasi. The role requires strong operational control, team management, vendor coordination, and ensuring high uptime and service quality at the hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hub Operations Management:
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the battery swapping hub
- Monitor battery availability, charging cycles, and uptime
- Maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime
- Inventory & Asset Management:
- Track battery inventory and ensure proper utilization
- Maintain records of battery movement and lifecycle
- Ensure safety and compliance in battery handling
- Team Management:
- Supervise and manage hub executives/technicians
- Ensure proper shift planning and workforce utilization
- Conduct regular training and performance monitoring
- Vendor & Partner Coordination:
- Coordinate with logistics partners, service vendors, and local stakeholders
- Ensure timely maintenance and issue resolution
- Customer & Partner Experience:
- Ensure seamless service experience for drivers and fleet partners
- Address and resolve escalations promptly
- Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and SOPs
- Maintain regulatory compliance at the hub
- Reporting & MIS:
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on hub performance
- Track KPIs like uptime, battery utilization, and service turnaround time
Key Requirements:
- Education:
- Graduate in any discipline (Engineering preferred)
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in operations, logistics, warehouse, or fleet management
- Prior experience in EV, battery, or mobility sector is a plus
- Skills:
- Strong operational and problem-solving skills
- Team handling and leadership ability
- Good communication and stakeholder management
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools
