Job Title: Field Collection Executive

Reporting To: Collection Manager
Job Purpose
The Field Collection Executive is responsible for managing on-ground collections, ensuring timely recovery of outstanding payments from customers, maintaining customer relationships, and minimizing default risks while adhering to company policies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Collection & Recovery
- Visit customers (dealers / partners / end-users) for payment collection
- Ensure timely recovery of overdue payments and EMIs
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and resolve payment issues
- Achieve monthly collection targets and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding)
2. Field Operations
- Plan daily routes and visits efficiently to maximize productivity
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and collection status
- Update collection data in CRM/ERP systems in real-time or end-of-day
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Address customer queries related to billing, payments, or disputes
- Educate customers on payment schedules and policies
4. Risk & Compliance
- Identify high-risk accounts and escalate to management
- Ensure adherence to company policies and ethical collection practices
- Maintain proper documentation and receipts for all collections
5. Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams
- Coordinate for dispute resolution and account reconciliation
- Provide regular feedback from the field to improve processes
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Collection efficiency (%)
- Reduction in overdue accounts
- Number of successful field visits
- Recovery from delinquent customers
- Data accuracy and reporting timeliness
Required Qualifications
- Minimum: Graduate in any discipline (Commerce preferred)
- Prior experience in field collections, recovery, or sales preferred
- Freshers with strong field willingness may also be considered
- DRA Certification is must
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Good communication (local language + basic English/Hindi)
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally
- Basic knowledge of financial/credit processes
- Familiarity with mobile apps/CRM tools
- Time management and route planning
Other Requirements
- Must own/operate a two-wheeler with a valid driving license
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
- Comfortable working in field-based roles
- Police Verification report from local PS
- Character Certificate from Local Councilor or Panchayat Members
