Job Title: Field Service Executive

Role Overview
The Field Service Executive will be responsible for on-ground service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lithium battery systems. This role ensures high uptime, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and service standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Commissioning
    • Install and commission lithium-ion batteries at customer sites
    • Ensure proper setup as per technical and safety guidelines
    • Conduct initial system checks and handover to customers
2. Maintenance & Servicing
    • Perform routine preventive maintenance of battery systems
    • Diagnose and resolve technical issues in batteries and related components
    • Replace faulty parts and ensure optimal functioning
3. Troubleshooting & Repairs
    • Identify root causes of battery/system failures
    • Carry out on-site repairs and escalate complex issues when required
    • Coordinate with technical team for advanced problem resolution
4. Customer Support
    • Provide on-ground technical assistance to customers
    • Educate customers on proper usage and safety practices
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely service delivery
5. Service Documentation & Reporting
    • Maintain service logs, job cards, and reports
    • Update CRM/Service tools with accurate service data
    • Track service requests, closures, and turnaround time
6. Inventory & Tools Management
    • Manage spare parts inventory at field level
    • Ensure proper handling and usage of tools and equipment
    • Report stock requirements proactively
7. Compliance & Safety
    • Follow all safety protocols related to lithium battery handling
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
    • Report any safety hazards or incidents immediately
Key Skills & Competencies
    • Basic understanding of electrical systems and lithium-ion batteries
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Good communication and customer-handling abilities
    • Ability to work independently in field conditions
    • Time management and accountability
Qualifications & Experience
    • Education: ITI / Diploma / Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
    • Experience: 0–3 years (Freshers with technical knowledge can be considered)
    • Prior experience in EV batteries, solar systems, or electrical servicing is a plus
Other Requirements
    • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
    • Two wheeler with valid driving license (2-wheeler preferred)
    • Ability to work in flexible hours based on service requirements

    • First-time fix rate
    • Customer satisfaction score (CSAT)
    • System uptime / downtime reduction
    • Number of service calls handled per day
